On the first day, you will leave Nairobi in the morning and travel through the picturesque Great Rift Valley, making your way to Lake Nakuru National Park. Famous for its flocks of flamingos and diverse birdlife, Lake Nakuru is also home to endangered species like the white rhino, alongside other wildlife such as lions, giraffes, and zebras.

As the sun sets, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening, surrounded by the natural beauty of the area.

On the second day, after a hearty breakfast, you’ll depart Lake Nakuru and continue your journey towards the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. As you travel through the Kenyan countryside, you’ll witness the ever-changing landscape before arriving at the Mara Sarova Game Lodge just in time for lunch. After settling in, the afternoon offers a chance to relax at the lodge or explore the lodge’s surroundings. Later in the day, you’ll venture out on a late afternoon game drive in the vast Masai Mara, where you’ll have the opportunity to see the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos—alongside countless other animals in their natural habitat. After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner and a restful night.

The third day offers an unforgettable experience with an optional early morning hot air balloon ride over the plains of the Masai Mara. Floating above the savannah as the sun rises, you’ll witness breathtaking views of the wildlife below, followed by a bush breakfast set in the wild—a truly unique experience. If you prefer to stay on the ground, you can still enjoy a morning game drive, exploring more of the reserve’s rich wildlife. Arriving in the late afternoon, you’ll conclude your safari with a memorable dinner at the famous Carnivore Restaurant, known for its variety of roasted meats and lively atmosphere.
